Do all parents need to pay for Leadoff?+
No. Only one person on the team needs a paid Leadoff subscription to run GameDay mode during games. Parents can join the team and set up their player's walk-up song and introduction for free.
Can parents add their player's walk-up song themselves?+
Yes. Coaches can share their team with parents using a simple invite code. Each parent can then add their player's walk-up song and introduction so the lineup stays updated automatically.
What sports is Leadoff best for?+
Leadoff is designed primarily for youth baseball and softball teams, including Little League, travel ball, coach pitch, and tee-ball. Any sport that uses player introductions or walk-up music can also use Leadoff.
How do walk-up songs work in youth baseball?+
Walk-up songs are short clips of music that play when a player walks up to bat. With Leadoff, coaches can assign a walk-up song to each player and trigger the music instantly during the game.
Can I choose the exact part of the walk-up song that plays?+
Yes. Leadoff lets you trim the exact moment of a song so players hear their favorite part when they walk up to the plate.
Does Leadoff include player introductions?+
Yes. Leadoff includes announcer-style player introductions that play before the walk-up song, making every at-bat feel like a big-league moment for youth players.
Can Leadoff run the full batting lineup during a game?+
Yes. Coaches can run the entire lineup from the app, trigger player introductions, and play walk-up music for each batter throughout the game.
How do I move a player to the bench?+
Go to your Team and find the player in your lineup.
  1. Swipe left on the player's row.
  2. Tap "Bench" to move them to the bench.
To move them back into the lineup, find the player on the bench, swipe left on their row, and tap "Active."
Why isn't my player's song playing?+
Leadoff requires an active Apple Music subscription to play songs.
  1. Make sure you're logged into Apple Music on your device.
  2. Confirm you have an active subscription or free trial.
  3. Try playing the song directly in Apple Music to verify it works.
  4. If needed, go to Settings in Leadoff and tap "Restore Purchases."
